Baby Plaisance

We had our routine ultrasound July 21st. It's taken me awhile to post about it...and thanks to Alyssa, here are a couple of pictures! We are so thankful that everything looked great and the baby is healthy. We did not find out the gender...we loved not knowing with William, so you will have to love waiting with us!

"For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well."
Psalm 139:13-14

Kaylee Marie Allison

August 5, 1998-August 5, 2008

Kaylee Marie's funeral was on Friday. Rodney & Tammy created a beautiful slide show full of video and sweet photos of her life on this earth. The songs playing in the background are from her service and most of them are Kaylee Marie's favorite songs & hymns.

Brother Steve's message was a great testimony to the bold and faithful life that Kaylee Marie lived for Jesus Christ. I learned so many things about Kaylee Marie that I didn't know and I was reminded of so many things about her that I will miss. Her Upward basketball coach, Lakeba, talked about the JOY Kaylee Marie had for Jesus and the "Jesus Joy" that was so evident in her life. The boys and two of her friends read scripture verses that were highlighted from Kaylee Marie's bible.

Below are the words that Kaylee Marie's family shared with those in attendance. Their words are so comforting and full of hope. Read them. Ponder them. Pray over them. And may these words and the love of Jesus Christ be real in your heart!

"We want to thank you all so much for coming today for the purpose of remembering and honoring our sweet angel. We have felt your love, prayers and support in such an overwhelming way these past few days.

Be excited with us knowing that Kaylee Marie is now in Glory! She is in the presence of her Heavenly Father and we just know that she is dancing more than ever! God has opened his loving arms...one to comfort us and the other to welcome His precious girl.

Please let today be a reminder that we do not know what tomorrow holds. Do not linger. Do not hesitate. Choose this day whom you will serve.

'He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away.' Revelations 21:4

Remember...no matter what you are going through it is not the last word. God has written the final chapter and it is about fulfillment and eternal joy for those who love Him. We do not know as much as we would like, but it is enough to know that eternity with God will be more wonderful than we could ever imagine."
