"I Make Cake"

My friend, Lauren, and her sweet twins over at "The Busbee Buzz" have inspired us to have a baking day during the week. Since William loves to "help" in the kitchen, we are trying the same. Alyssa gave me a really cute cupcake book for my birthday, so William and I made a pumpkin patch this week. William enjoyed eating the batter as much as the pumpkins!

School Lunches

Everytime we pass a school or a bus, William reminds me that his cousins are in school."Jacksion, school. Hayson, school. Giffin, school." So, today, we went to eat with them and William really enjoyed himself!

We are a mixed marriage of LSU & Auburn. (Even though Eric is officially an Auburn Grad, too...he still grew up with LSU!) With William, we will wait and see which Tigers he loves!

We had a fun day tailgating with Jeremy, Darcy,Claire & Emma, The Rollins, The Cobbs & The Shoneseys. Tailgating sure changes when you have children...it's much more eventful! Eric cooked up a yummy shrimp boil for everyone and we had a great time! After some drama, (check out Tara's blog), we headed to the game. Eric was extremely quiet the first half, but turned it on the second half.

This is always a fun game for us. Lots of great memories from watching this rivalry together. My favorite Auburn/LSU memory is going into labor right after Auburn beat LSU in 2006! Our little tiger was born the next morning!

William's Birthday!

We had a fun day today! We started off at Panera for breakfast & coffee. William ate every last crumb of his chocolate chip muffin top and then proceeded to eat all of my pumpkin muffin top, too. He's a growing boy! Then we headed next door to get some new shoes. He loved showing Mrs. Rhonda how fast he could run...(that was the only way we could get him to try them on).
We joined Alyssa & Caroline for our weekly lunch date and they brought a sweet cookie cake for us. William enjoyed blowing out the candles and holding Caroline's hand!

After a marathon nap, we opened presents with Daddy and ate more cookie cake! (We didn't eat very much of it at lunch, so I passed on making a cake and took a nap with William...thanks again, Alyssa!)

William is not really ready to tell us how old he is. We ask him if he is two, and he laughs and says, "No...Willwem." But ask him his name, and he says, "Name."

Happy Birthday William!
